Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in the growth and success of a company by identifying opportunities for business expansion, building relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue generation.
➢ Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities for business growth. ✓ Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. ✓ Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals. ✓ Identify key areas for expansion and growth. ✓ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and partnerships. ✓ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. ✓ Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. ✓ Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth. ✓ Prepare and present proposals, including pricing and contract negotiations. ✓ Work closely with internal teams to tailor proposals to meet client needs. ✓ Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build a professional network. ✓ Represent the company at business meetings and events. ✓ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development. ✓ Provide input on product development based on market feedback. ✓ Evaluate the potential risks and rewards of new business opportunities. ✓ Develop strategies to mitigate risks and maximize returns.
EXPERIENCE
➢ 5 years of experience in business development or a related role. ➢ Strong verbal and written communication skills. ➢ Ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly. ➢ Proficient in negotiation techniques and contract management. ➢ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ➢ Ability to analyze market trends and customer data. ➢ Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. ➢ Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and company priorities. ➢ Leadership qualities and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. ➢ Should be a dynamic, strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams. Must be adaptable, goal-oriented, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. ➢ Proficient in using technology and software relevant to business development activities. ➢ Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
