Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee and manage sales operations in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of proven sales experience in building materials and a strong network of dealers, distributors, and contractors. The role requires the ability to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and manage a team to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Planning & Execution
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the assigned territory.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports.
  2. Market Development
    • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key dealers, distributors, architects, builders, and contractors.
    • Conduct market research to track competitor activities and industry trends.
  3. Team Management
    • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals.
    • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
    • Monitor team performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
  4. Customer Relationship Management
    • Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support.
    • Handle customer queries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business.
  5. Reporting & Coordination
    • Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
    • Coordinate with marketing, production, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
    • Submit timely MIS reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in sales, preferably in building material (UPVC, toughened glass, tiles, etc.).
  • Gender Preference: Male candidates only.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
