Job Responsibilities:-
● Work with Account & Strategy teams to develop strategic channel/media solutions
● Utilise media research tools and resources to aid in campaign development
● Finalise and present recommendations internally and to clients
● Manage cross-departmental issues regarding any aspect of campaign execution
● Develop and present reports highlighting relevant insights and learnings, and provide
recommendations for future campaigns
● Develop, manage and train Assistant/JR Planners
● Daily management and optimization of digital media campaigns including planning
and strategy development, contract execution, and reporting
● Work closely with an internal specialized team to monitor performance and
recommend optimizations and new/different strategies and tactics
● Interacting with the Brand Team (In-house & Agencies) for the creation of Marketing
collaterals which has to be marketed at the lowest possible costs.
● Lead role in training and managing junior team members in digital media
● Collaborate with all departments in the agency
● As the Senior Digital Media Planner, he/she will be the primary point person on
several accounts.
● In addition to his/her core account assignments, the Senior Digital Media Planner is
expected to participate in new business pitches, internal presentations, and award
submissions.
● Keyword Research skills
● Skills in search platforms including; Google AdWords, Facebook Ads and Instagram
Ads.
● Understanding of social media advertising across major platforms (Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram)
● Website Analytics (mostly in Google Analytics)
● Experience working on a Performance Media (SEM and Social) strategy
● Creating & Managing of Advertising/ Marketing Campaign
● Optimizing the campaigns for best results and Driving growth for the company.
● Finding new advertising opportunities in terms of more advertising areas or in terms
of ad platforms to increase the revenue while maintaining required profitability.
● Taking complete control & responsibility for the platforms in terms of selection of
creatives, ad copies, campaigns & targeting for both the advertising Inventory as well
as Demographic targeting of the audience for a specific product and budget allotment
for each run campaigns.
● Creating an insightful report to give feedback for content creation for creating better
creatives to help reduce advertising spends for reaching audiences.
● Running analysis for improving ROIs of advertising.
● Creating Analytical models to generate better performance.
● Evaluating various marketing strategies and creating an alternative path for better
results.
● Planning & executing the Media plans for the brands backed up with research &
strategy.
● Consult with creative teams on campaign elements, including banners, email, rich
media, search marketing, etc.
● Coordinate negotiations with media vendors
● Constant communication & coordination internally within teams.
● Track media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
● Evaluate media proposals and provide written POVs
● Hands-on experience on Campaign Management platforms.
● Able to build client-relationship by proposing new digital marketing
solutions/services and strategies on a regular basis.
● Understanding Analytics tools will be an additional advantage.
● Compute ROI of online media activity, and make recommendations to optimize client
results
● Provide concise, timely and accurate reporting, including post-buys, positioning and
online tracking reports, etc.
● Can manage all aspects of an online program(Facebook, Google, and other publishing
platforms)
● Has experience with all online media tactics: CPA, CPM, and paid search
● Understands all aspects of online campaign implementation
● Has stellar negotiation, tracking, and optimisation skills
● Is comfortable interacting with third-party ad servers and rich media technologies
● Understands syndicated and related online media research resources
● Has outstanding budget and project management skills
Qualifications:
● At least 1+ years professional experience in managing performance campaigns
● Deep knowledge and understanding of digital media planning and buying, including
technical details
● Experience in all steps of the media planning process, across a variety of clients
● Exceptional media skills overall: strategic thinking, an introduction to innovative
ideas/techniques, stellar negotiating skills, insightful analysis
● Proficiency in digital media planning and trafficking software, including
DoubleClick/DART (or equivalent), Similarweb and ComScore
● Strong relationships (and reputation) in the media community
● Active in the media community outside of the agency
● Manage and monitor growth by implementing campaign solutions; build campaigns,
monitor and optimize for performance and work towards marketing objectives.
● Manage the implementation, tracking, and measurement of integrated digital
marketing campaigns within the timelines and budgets.
● Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
● Should have and previously demonstrated an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
when working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
● Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad copies.
● Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Online Advertising.
● Optimize and scale metrics like CPC, CPI, CPA, CTR, CPM for all campaigns, ad
groups and ad sets. Publish daily performance summary report for key metrics.
● Religiously track funnel conversion and identify key areas for improvement. Engage
with the concerned team to drive engagements and deliver results
● Manage, mentor & grow the team members to deliver impact
● Comprehensive knowledge of online creative specifications.
● The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned campaigns
● A high degree of organization and communication skills.
● Strong interpretation skills; can work from little detail.
● Dedication to excellent client service.
● The successful candidate should have a passion for digital advertising and an
insatiable desire to learn and explore emerging trends.
● A self-starter and results-oriented, with an ability to be detail oriented without losing

intuitive campaigns
● Experience in handling annual performance advertising budgets
● Expert understanding of leading mobile & web analytics tools, marketing automation
software & advertising technology in general
