Opening for Logistic (SCM) Manager profile from Import and Export Industry of Automobiles for an MNC .(Candidates from North India can apply but willing to work in Chennai Location

Position : Manager – Logistic (SCM)

Location : CHENNAI only 2 weeks in Punjab Plant for Induction & then shifted to Chennai.

Experience : 9.5 to 12 yrs – DM , 12 plus for Manager

Any Specific Industry: Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Automotive firm) / Automobile
Manufacturing/Manufacturing

Preferred Age : 35 to 40 years

Skills & Competencies:

Technical:

1. SAP, Logistic service provider & Evaluation
2. Import & Export operation along with documentation.
3. Logistic & Transport Handling.
SAP COMPULSORY
Generic: Commercial – Good communication skills.
Areas of Expertise:
 Logistic service provider selection
 Logistic service provider evaluation
 Responsible for import and export documentation.
 Pre/post shipment docs to be provided to customers.
 Negotiation with CHA and import/export forwarders.
 Daily MIS reporting.
 Verification of freight bills and to submit online application for export incentives.
 Tracking of EXIM shipments and follow up with DGFT/customs for incentives.
Maintain customer relationship by resolving problems of transportation, logistics systems,
imports or exports material handling issues.
