Qualification:- TGT with B.ed
Age of Range :- 28 to 32 years
Languages Known:- English and any Indian

Reports to: Beyond Academics Coordinator
Purpose
· Develop healthy competitive spirit accepting losing as part of the game
· Help develop physical abilities, fitness and healthy habits
· Measure student progress to encourage efforts to meet state and national standards
· Play important role is managing obesity issues
Job Overview

Ø Design and deliver grade-wise curriculum that is age appropriate, encourages rhythm, fitness and healthy choices

Ø Prepare children for inter school and for state level competitions as outlined in Believe 2023 goals

Ø Keep updated about requirements by sports authorities

Design and delivery of Curriculum

Ø Research unique sports that help in fast recognition at higher levels

Ø Ensure grade appropriate plan encourages physical fitness and develops healthy habits

Ø Ensure children are taught practical methods to deal with obesity

Ø Ensure no form of abuse – physical (bad touch), verbal and emotional – is inflicted which leads to corporal punishment

Prepare for state level competitions

Ø Select and train children to compete at state and national levels in accordance with Believe 2023 goals

Ø Host inter school events to nurture sportsman spirit and comradeship

Communication

Ø Identify talented children

Ø Identify children who need additional support

Ø Do a case study of every child

Ø Submit case study reports, every month, to Beyond Academics coordinator.
