Opening for Automation Test Engineer in a leading IT Company in Chandigarh

Exp: 2 to 5 years

Salary – 4 to 6 Lakhs PA

Location – Chandigarh

Level of Experience: 2-5 Years in Selenium Web driver
Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Define and establish automation strategy and process for Web applications.
• Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution and maintenance of automated scripts.
• Collaborate with developers and test team to create effective test automation cases, plans and runs.
• Assist and Advise on best practices for testing as well as make recommendations to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with stake holders for test automation project to identify, prioritize and document detailed test automation requirements
• Experience using SQL with regard to writing and understanding queries.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects of varying size and scope and core team activities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to meet objectives within short timeframes and prioritize conflicting deadlines
• Ability to work independently.
• Ensure quality and throughput of project
Required skills, education and experience:
• 2 years of programming experience: java, C# are preferred.
• 2+ Yrs experience in test automation (Descriptive programming and SDLC)
• Experience in using automation tool (Selenium WebDriver)
• Expert on building automation frame work and write test scripts
• Expertise in running test scripts from different automation tool on different hosts
• Strong skill in back-end testing using SQL queries on SQL Server.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills
