Position: Sales Application Engineer
Reporting to: Business Development Head
Job summary: To work as an application sales engineer & provide excellent customer service as the front-line contact with our customers.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Application Engineer to join our team in Bangalore/Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in adhesives, sealants, and fluid handling products. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned territory.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
3. Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads to generate sales.
4. Provide technical support and product demonstrations to clients.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
7. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
8. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote company products.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the adhesives, sealants, or fluid handling industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
4. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex product specifications.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
8. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
