Job Brief
We are looking for a Test Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out durability and performance testing of our robots on the field in coordination with the various stakeholders.
They would need to be proficient with preparing the Design Verification Plan (DVP) with respect to the project timeline and execute the test. The test engineer will report to the Machine Testing Lead.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure our final products meet our safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Take care of agricultural field durability and end to end on-field performance testing of the robots.
• Prepare DVP & report and execute the test according to the testing plan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand testing parameters, plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope and deployment plan.
• Responsible for assessing bugs/error/failure priority & severity, effectively sharing the same with the various stakeholders.
• Reporting, follow-up, bug/error/failure tracking and risks and escalations management
• Travel to the various regions where testing is carried out viz. – Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat for seasonal testing.
• Coordinate on all ground level activities.
• work closely with the production team to understand why we’re building a product and what the specific requirements are.
• Inspect materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions.
• Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Run quality controls on components and final products.
• Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes.
• Suggest fixes and improvements.
• Document technical issues and solutions.
• Build automated testing systems for regular checks.
• Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO) Requirements And Skills
• 4+ years of experience in Product Testing, preferably agriculture domain.

• Hands on practical experience in testing tractors on agricultural fields, testing of robotics implements.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and align the testing according to the same.
