Required Skills:
· Master’s and/or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a DBA.
· Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
· Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
· Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
· Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
· Familiarity with programming languages API
· Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
Ø Desired Skills:
· Excellent oral and written English skills.
· Experience developing in an agile environment.
· Experience with basic security issues within databases.
· Experience with MySQL is required. SQLite, MongoDb, Postgre & SparkDb is a big plus.
· Ardent desire to learn new skills.
· Experience with DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment would be an
advantage.
