Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
o Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective
product sales strategies.
o Drive revenue growth in SMF Batteries and other battery segments like Lithium
Inverter, EV, and Motorcycle Batteries.
2. Sales Forecasting & Planning:
o Prepare and monitor sales forecasts and projection plans for the assigned region.
o Analyze historical data and market trends to improve accuracy of forecasts.
3. Market Development & Penetration:
o Develop and execute strategies to increase market penetration and brand presence.
o Identify new business opportunities and expand the market share.
4. Channel Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and
dealers.
o Ensure regular engagement for increased repeat business and loyalty.
5. New Market & Partner Onboarding:
o Identify and onboard new channel partners in untapped territories.
o Ensure effective training and product orientation for new partners.
6. Competitor & Market Analysis:
o Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and policies.
o Develop and implement counter-strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
7. Operational Coordination:
o Ensure timely dispatch of materials to channel partners.
o Manage branch inventory levels and inter-branch transfers to avoid stock-outs.
8. Credit & Collection Management:
o Oversee outstanding payments and collections within the credit limits.
o Maintain financial discipline and reduce credit risk exposure.
9. Customer Service & Warranty Management:
o Manage warranty claims and ensure efficient after-sales service support.
o Build a strong aftermarket reputation through responsive service.
10. Industry Research:
o Conduct regular research and reporting on the battery industry, including new
technologies and emerging market segments.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: Graduate (preferably in Engineering or Commerce); MBA in Sales/Marketing is a
plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales and territory management,
preferably in the battery or electronics industry.
Industry Exposure:
o Strong network and working knowledge in sales of SMF Batteries, Lithium Inverter
Batteries, EV Batteries, and Motorcycle Batteries.
o Understanding of battery applications across EV, Solar, UPS, Weighing Scale, inverters
and related sectors.
Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
o Ability to lead teams and manage a sales branch independently.
