Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts while also having a good understanding of manual testing concepts.

You’ll collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level automated testing.
• Execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or similar.
• Identify, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, Trello, Mantis, or Bugzilla.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and reporting throughout the SDLC and STLC.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve defects.
• Apply manual testing knowledge when required for exploratory or validation testing.

Required Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in Automation Testing tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Strong team collaboration and client-facing skills.
