Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and optimize CNC & VMC machine programs as per engineering drawings.
• Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines for production.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
• Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary program adjustments.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
• Maintain records of programs, tooling, and production activities.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of CNC & VMC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixtures.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Bore Gauges.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, Machinist, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC & VMC Programmer.

• Strong technical knowledge of CNC and VMC machining.
• Ability to optimize machining cycles and improve productivity.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious.
