Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Communication & Equipment Service Management:
    • Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding equipment performance, service needs, and problem resolution.
  2. Equipment Audits:
    • Conduct audits of installed equipment to ensure proper functioning and address potential issues proactively.
  3. Technical Discussions with Customers:
    • Lead technical discussions with customers to resolve queries and provide solutions regarding the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  4. Liaison with Production Team:
    • Act as a bridge between the production team and the customer to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and service of equipment.
  5. On-Site Fabrication & Customization:
    • Manage and oversee any on-site fabrication or customization work required to ensure proper installation of equipment.
  6. PG Test Parameters:
    • Ensure that the equipment meets all Performance Guarantee (PG) test parameters as per the project requirements.
  7. Installation & Commissioning Support:
    • Ensure that all resources, tools, and materials required for the installation, commissioning, and service of equipment are available. Take action to procure them locally if needed.
  8. Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from installation through commissioning and after-sales service, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are fulfilled.
  9. Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all project phases, including service reports, maintenance logs, warranty claims, and equipment performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in after-sales service, equipment installation, or maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with coal beneficiation equipment like cyclone, screen, centrifuge, etc.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in technical discussions and problem resolution.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for site visits.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
