Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream with 2 to 5 years’ experience in hardware networking
• Any certification in networking will be added advantage.

Infrastructure

• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure and Internet connectivity is on par with technical considerations and make recommendations for future upgrades.
• Maintain misc. network services such as file servers, VPN-gateways, intrusion detection systems.
• Proactively monitor network to ensure security and high availability

Personal computers and devices

• Maintain network facilities on individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users related to areas like LAN / WI-FI issues, Internet connectivity, operating system and printers
• Administer laptops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones/smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
• Prepare systems for new employees

Security

• Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Administrate firewall
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
• Help prevent and resolve issues with viruses and adware

General

• Maintain inventory of hardware, software
• Evaluate and modify system’s performance.
• Participate in preparations for growth
• Liaise with our outsourcing partners for server, network and desktop hardware, software and Internet.
• Coordinating timely repair of IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements
• Together with local management and Nordic IT team, help refine existing and defined new IT policies and processes
