Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer with 2 to 3 years of industrial sales experience and a strong engineering background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical solutions that meet client needs. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering and product development teams to deliver tailored solutions to our clients in the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales and Business Development:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial sector.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective clients.
· Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Technical Expertise:
· Understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions that address their needs.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions and product offerings.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients.
· Market Analysis and Strategy:
· Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industrial sector.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales goals.
· Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
· Customer Support:
· Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Address and resolve any issues or concerns clients may have in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
· Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation.
· Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
· 2-3 years of experience in industrial sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
· Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and solutions.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the industrial sales B2B.
· Professional certifications in sales or engineering.
· Knowledge of market and customer.
