Responsibilities:

  Developing and implementing long-term operational strategies, policies and procedures that
align with the organization’s overall goals and ensure all operations run efficiently and
effectively.  Overseeing multiple operational projects simultaneously to ensure that employees complete
them on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.  Design and implement plans for the effective use of Man, Material, Machine and Resources.  Avoid or minimise overtime, rework and wastage of material.  Focus on continuous improvements.  Identifying and mitigating operational risks to ensure that the organization can continue to
operate effectively.  Determine plant capacity based on Business Plan / Orders received.  Make / Buy decisions based on capacity
 Periodical review of plant layout to reduce operations time.
 Schedule the preventive maintenance of production equipment and machines to ensure
efficient operations. Avoid or minimise idle time of plant assets.
  Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to products or
processes and to improvise action to mitigate the quality defects.
 Forecasting and allocating resources as required, to meet business goals.
 Implementing effective processes and standards to ensure operations are in compliance
with health and safety standards.
 Managing the performance of employees and providing feedback to help them improve.
 Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of technical production employees to ensure a
competent workforce for the smooth Production flow to meet Targets.
 Planning of Resources.
 Safety stock review & Backlog management to ensure smooth supplies to Customers.
