Reporting To VP & CTO
Educational Qualification – BE/ B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred: ME/ M.Tech /MS in Electrical/Power Electronics or related
engineering fields.
Experience 8+ years in SMPS/LED Lighting Control Gear electronics (LED
Drivers) or associated fields in design/research/development
functionality

Preferred Salary Band CTC – Rs 8 – 12 Lakhs per num
Technical Skills
Required
· ·Hands on Experience in Design, Product Development and Life
Cycle Management of Power Electronics Products like UPS, Home
Inverters, SMPS (AC-DC/ DC-DC), LED Drivers etc.,
· ·Should have Thorough knowledge of Various SMPS Switching
Topologies like QR Fly-back, Forward, Half Bridge, Full Bridge,
Resonant LLC etc.,
· ·Should have thorough knowledge about Electronic components
and Power Electronic Devices like, BJTs, Power MOSFETs,
IGBTs, Schottky Diodes, etc.,
· ·Thorough Knowledge about Analog and Power Circuit design,
MOSFET Drive circuits, Control ICs, and other Active and Passive
Devices etc.,
· ·Good Knowledge about EMI/EMC/Safety concepts, Design
Techniques, applicable in Power electronics and High speed digital
circuits, and also knowledge about various National and
International standards applicable.
· ·Should have good Knowledge about Thermal Design of
Transformers, Heat sinks and Power devices.
· ·Thorough knowledge about design of high frequency, high power
magnetics like Ferrite Transformers, Ferrite inductors, Filters etc.,
used in Switching Power Supplies.
· ·Should understand PCB Layout concepts and techniques for
Power and Digital circuits.
· ·Should have knowledge about Design concepts of application of
Micro-processors/Micro-controllers and Embedded design, in the
Power Electronics design.

/Development teams and Projects simultaneously.

Other Skills Required
· Prior experience in Design & Development of LED drivers
/Electronic Ballast/EHID ballast/Induction lamp generator etc.,
· Experience in Designing LED Drivers up to 200W with Dimming
through various methods including, DALI is advantageous
· Ability to multitask.
· Good Verbal and Written communication skills in English.
· Project Plan preparation and monitoring skills.
· Reports and Presentations preparation skills.
· Basic PCB layout design.
· Knowledge of Windows, MS office, MS Project Management etc.,
Responsibilities

· Manage Product Design & Development activities relating to
Product Development of LED Drivers and related products
· Lead, guide multiple Projects and teams of engineers in
implementing developmental goals.
· Co-operate and co-ordinate with various Cross functional teams
· Plan, prepare schedules and implement the projects to meet the
targets
· Prepare Reports and presentations.
· Plan, initiate to procure/provide necessary tools, softwares,
equipment, instruments, material etc., as required for Product
development activities.
· Helping define/refine design and product test methods or practices.
