Department : Rubber Mixing
a) Preferred Age: 35-50 Yrs.
b) Educational Qualification: Rubber or Polymer Technologist / B. tech in Polymer technology or Diploma in Rubber technology from DIRI or Bachelor degree in science or Masters in science+ Diploma in Polymer technology or BTech in any stream with Diploma in polymer technology.
c) Experience (Nature and number of years):- 5 – 10 YEARS AS HEAD IN RUBBER INDUSTRY.
d) Any Specific Industry: Automotive Industry
e) Skills & Competencies:
I. Technical: Polymer Science, ISO-TS, Problem Solving Technique
II.Generic : Leader, Self-Responsible
Salary : Rs 100000 – Rs 115000 Monthly Gross
Areas of expertise required: Lean/ 6- sigma
To focus ,follow and execute the organization strategies/projects for Mixing operations and its SCM, coming out from annual business plan /budget and also assign, monitor and control the monthly KPI’s in direction to same. To continuously work on methods to bring down 4M costs, and standardize the Mixing operations for sustainable effect. To simultaneously enhance the skill and talent development within the department and Lead in order to keep the team self-motivated and result oriented. To follow the technical inputs coming from joint venture partners and their implementation on shop floor.
1)Worked with different kinds of Polymers(NBR/EPDM/FKM/CR)
2)Involved in routine analysis of Process issues/failures
3)Basic knowledge of maintenance activities in order to lead the maintenance team with already trained experts.
4)Good communicator with leadership skills.
5)Brief idea of Lean tools with a focus on inventory reduction (ITR/KANBAN/ABC etc)
6)Good command over Microsoft office and SPC.
7)SAP exposure will be an added advantage.
8)Familiar with TS16949 & EHS requirements.
9)Independently handled at least one-two projects
