RESPONSIBILITY:
He is responsible to: –
Ø Conduct receiving inspection of in-coming materials (raw material & job work) and customer supplied products for departmental use.
Ø Conduct in process stage inspection, routine and final inspection of departmental products.
Ø Arrange timely calibration, control of inspection and testing equipments.
Ø Conduct in-house Inspection/calibration of fixtures as per drawings.
Ø Controlling of nonconforming products & its rework in coordination with production head.
Ø Maintain and control of quality related documents as per ISO 9001:2015.
Ø To conduct inspection of finished product & witness testing with customer representative.
Ø To develop new vendors for various items as required time to time in coordination with purchase department.
Ø To monitor the quality performance of the existing vendors and ensure corrective measures wherever required.
Ø Dealing with customer complaints in co-ordination with production and marketing.
Ø Interaction and customer handling wherever required for above aspects and getting products accepted by Indian railways or private customers.
