Job Description
This position requires the candidate to have a good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Lync/Skype
for Business and they have to look after Geomant’s Client in Australia/NZ/Asia for different inhouse
or partner product portfolios such as Verba call recording, Custom wallboard solutions (FWi or
Innova). The daily tasks are:
• Assist in maintaining and growing Geomant’s leadership position in providing Unified
Communication and contact centre solutions and development capabilities by providing
unparalleled knowledge and excellent customer service.
• Install, configure and support Geomant products in-line with design documentation.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and customers during the implementation
planning process.
• Participate in customer implementation kick-off meetings to provide the technical
prerequires information.
• Perform customer environment pre-requisite checks (hardware and software) to ensure
customer environment is ready for the deployment.
• Be responsible for installation, configuration and support of our applications in the field.
• Provide customer technical training to enable support processes and ensure SLAs can be
met.
• Contribute to post-install ‘as-built’ customer documentation.
• Provide ‘go-live’ support to newly installed solutions and manage the transition to on-going
support.
• Provide front line in-country (in time zone) support to Geomant AU customers in
conjunction with Geomant’s European based tier 2 and 3 product support teams.
• Perform testing and provide input to the development of Geomant products.
• Provide ad-hoc support for Geomant and partner solutions e.g. Inova Solutions, Unify
Square, Four Winds Interactive and Verba Recording solutions
• Work closely and assist other Geomant’s non-ANZ engineering and development teams.
• Provide technical pre-sales support for sales opportunities around Geomant’s Microsoft and
related projects.
• Provide implementation design, planning and deployment for Microsoft platform-based
projects.
• Maintain database of support contract details so our financial controller can issue support
renewal advice to the customer.

• Attain and maintain your Microsoft technical certifications as relates to Microsoft partner
status.
Future Opportunities for this role:
• Help create additional revenues for our Microsoft product portfolio and application
development expertise.
• Provide a vision around what can be created from your technical expertise and assist with
growing an ANZ based solution delivery team.
• Support, assistance and representation at various trade shows, conferences and related
activities.
• Be responsible for both development of new solutions, support & maintenance of ongoing
operational systems.
Skills Required 
 Minimum 1-3 years’ experience is essential.
 Must have adequate working knowledge on Microsoft server Technologies especially Lync
or Skype for Business
 Demonstrated ability to work with all aspects of a project lifecycle including requirements
gathering, scheduling, implementation and testing with frequent, quality communication. 
 Knowledge or understanding of a variety of cloud computing platforms including Microsoft
Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. 
 Excellent written and oral communication skills 
 Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
Must have for the job:
 Hands-on experience for project and support
 Must be ready to work after hours on need basis.
 Relevant Microsoft certifications Especially Lync or SfB
 Must be able to work independently and work from home
