Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage sanitation and housekeeping activities across the hospital.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, wards, OPD, corridors, washrooms, common areas, and other hospital premises.
• Supervise sanitation staff and allocate daily duties.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and sanitation equipment.
• Monitor hospital-specific cleaning and disinfection procedures.
• Ensure proper disposal and segregation of waste as per hospital protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of hospital premises and identify areas requiring attention.
• Maintain hygiene standards in critical and patient-care areas.
• Train housekeeping and sanitation staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene, PPE, and safety protocols.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, manpower deployment, consumables, and inspections.
• Coordinate with hospital administration and other departments regarding sanitation-related issues.
• Ensure availability and proper usage of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Take immediate corrective action in case of hygiene or sanitation deficiencies.

Candidate Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in sanitation/housekeeping supervision.
• Hospital housekeeping/sanitation experience will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, disinfectants, cleaning equipment, and their proper usage.
• Knowledge of hospital hygiene and infection-control practices.
• Good team-handling and supervisory skills.
• Disciplined, responsible, and physically active.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Should be comfortable working in a hospital environment.
