Role Summary
The Project Head – Site Interior Fitouts is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of largescale interior projects. The role oversees all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Develop detailed project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate subcontractors including MEP, carpentry, ceiling, flooring, joinery, and other trades
- Plan procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
2. Site Management
- Supervise daily site operations and workforce activities
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to specifications
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory requirements
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues
- Maintain site documentation and progress records
3. Budget and Cost Control
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and progress payments
- Manage variations, change orders, and cost adjustments
- Implement cost-control measures to prevent overruns
- Prepare cost-to-complete forecasts and financial reports
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Lead regular progress meetings with clients and consultants
- Provide clear and accurate project status updates
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Manage client expectations and handle change requests professionally
5. Quality Assurance and Handover
- Conduct inspections and manage snag lists
- Ensure works are completed within agreed timelines
- Oversee testing and commissioning where required
- Coordinate final approvals and handover documentation
- Ensure smooth project closeout and client satisfaction
