Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the designated territory or market segment.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to promote sales of company products or services.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Understand customer requirements, specifications, and project needs to provide customized solutions and proposals.
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals, and contracts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the management, including revenue, margin, and product mix goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence to the sales management team.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and services and enhance brand visibility.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge, technical skills, and sales techniques through training programs and self-study.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business dealings and interactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in technical sales, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the relevant industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Result-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and customer-focused approach.
