Hiring for IT System Engineer for an MNC company in Mohali location

Designation: IT System Engineer

Experience: 5 Yr to 7 Years

Salary: 5-6 LPA (can be negotiable)

Qualification: Any Graduate/ Post Graduate

Gender: Male/ Female both can preferable.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 Serve as a primary owner for server issues and alerts that would get triggered by the Managed
Machines or internal servers
 Work with customers to design and validate new technology solutions to align with their
business needs
 Perform alerts verification and then proceed with systems troubleshooting and management
and close the Tickets within defined SLA as per Process
 Provide thorough research on Customer-facing issues
 Update internal knowledge base of new support solutions as required
 Proactively communicate with customers on their infrastructure management
 Act as a point of escalation for customer issues
 Responsible for onboarding/deployment task/activities for new / existing customer
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
 Provide excellent customer service and act as a true client advocate
 Minimum work experience of 5 years
 At least 5+ Years Relevant Server Support Experience
 College Degree in a technical discipline
 Must have full understanding and experience maintaining, managing and monitoring remote
servers running Windows OS
 Demonstrate honesty, integrity, fairness and respect with excellent interpersonal skills
 Professional attitude, presentation, demeanor
 Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
 Can listen to and understand other points of view, issues, concerns and respond appropriately
Proficient Knowledge in Managing and administration of Windows Server and knowledge of below
mentioned skills
 Linux
 Networking (LAN/WAN) experience, with knowledge of switching and routing technologies

 Windows Shell Scripting
 SQL Server Administration
 Virtualization & cloud computing experience
 Understanding of firewalling & security principles & technologies
 Ability to quickly and efficiently address Servers errors and alerts.
