Looking for a Senior Position of Lead
Exp: 15 to 20 Years
Salary : 25 to 40 Lakhs PA
Location – Chandigarh
1) Technical Skills
a. Must have excellent education and experience in software development from the ground up
b. Must be fully knowledgeable in:
i. Programming languages (.Net, Java, R, PHP, Django etc.)
ii. Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Hardoop, Mongo etc.)
iii. Database structures – logical database planning, normalization etc. for scalability and analytics
iv. Front-end (Angular JS, JS, etc.)
2) Leadership Skills
a. Must demonstrate leadership skills as follows:
i. Must be able to recruit new talent to fulfill a necessary team for a large deployment. The recruitment of new talent will be across many functions such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Lead Programmers, Programmers, Front-end Experts
ii. Must be able to lead the execution of this 2-3 year customized ERP deployment at State level from ground up:
1. Setting the strategic target for accomplishing a ground up ERP for Government Project.
2. Setting a project plan through an initial consulting engagement to implementation order to actual implementation and delivery
3. Motivating the team through this complex project cycle; adding members, managing talent attrition etc.
4. Communicating at all levels – with the Government Authorities, internally with Senior Management, with the team and with prospective new customers
3) Problem Solving Skills
a. Must be an active problem solver in a complex technical setting
b. Must have a very keen sense for anticipating technical and business problems that are to be expected in such an implementation
4) Experience
a. Must have detailed knowledge and vision of an ERP application
b. Must be very familiar with Big Data Analytics
c. Must have a very rich experience in implementing ERP using non-standard technologies (i.e. this will not be an SAP, Oracle or other pre-packaged tool implementation)
d. Must be able to work in Government environment as a contractor. Familiarity with government working is a huge plus
e. 15+ years of experience in steadily increasing leadership roles is what we’re looking for
5) Personal qualities essential for success in this high profile position
a. High level of self-confidence and determination to see a large complex project through
b. Not afraid to take decisions and learn from experience
c. Extrovert is preferred over an introvert – however, the communication style must be soothing to a variety of people in a variety of positions
d. Straight-forwardness in the personality make-up is a must
e. Must not be afraid to ask for help; should state the problem areas clearly
