Location – Tirupati (Andhra)

Hosur – Tamil Nadu


Experience : 5 + years of Dealer / Branch Management experience from the Consumer Durables / Sleep Comfort / Furniture / Moulded Furniture / Home Furnishing / FMCG / Paints /Tyres / Tiles & Sanitaryware / Plywood & Laminates, Cycles, etc.


2-3 years experience of Unit/Depot Management with a team of at least 4-5 people


Position Title : Area Business Manager


Role summary : Area Business Manager will provide support and drive implementation of the organic growth strategy of Company. 


CTC Offered : INR 4.50 LPA to INR 5.50 LPA (Negotiable) + Variables



Job Responsibilities


  1. To achieve the sales targets on a monthly / quarterly / annually basis, strictly abiding the current Company’s Trade Policy (TP)
  2. To ensure that the collection targets are met on a monthly basis strictly abiding the current Company’s Trade Policy (TP).
  3. To train, guide and support the field force and to ensure that every member of the team achieves the sales and collection targets on monthly basis.
  4. To maintain good trade relationship with every business associate and strive to enhance the image of the Company.
  5. To evolve strategies for every dealer in order to maximize the business and market share within the policies and guidelines of the company.
  6. To formulate strategic inputs to develop the market and for increasing dealer / distributor network for commercial and economical viabilities.
  7. To identify the problematic area, those affect the growth and evolve suitable solution in order to eliminate the same keeping in view the long-term interests of the Company.
  8. To assign territories that has adequate workload for optimum coverage of market at minimum travel time and cost for maximizing output.
  9. To design route plans for every BOs and ensure that the field force adheres to the plan.
  10. Responsible for channel management and territorial controls, merchandizing, display product POPs, distribution of product brochures and price lists.
  11. To ensure that every Business Officer plans dealer-wise daily sales/collection targets at the beginning of every month and monitor the same through Daily Call Reports (DCR), personal discussion time to time.
  12. To visit the market regularly to understand the trend, competitors’ activities, efficiency of BOs, problems faced by dealers, distributors’ effectiveness of the Company’s policies and to identify opportunities for furthers business development.
  13. To plan and maintain minimum inventory level of all product groups without affecting the sales for efficient cost control of the ASO.
  14. To ensure efficient administration of the ASO operations – timely indenting, proper warehousing, general housekeeping, maintenance of internal and statutory records, timely dispatching, banking, including reconciling of Bank Accounts, reporting and operating the entire sales office as per the established policies and procedures of the Company.
  15. To review the sales data folder maintained by the BOs regularly in order to focus on the most important parameters.
  16. To report regularly to the ZBM / ZM / GM about the trend, market conditions, dealer/market development, competitors’ activities, working of the field force, staff efficiency or any other information deemed fit for the growth, progress and profitability of the Company.
  17. Responsible for follow-up of customer complaints.
  18. Co-ordinate with Zonal Accountant for legal issues pertained to the designated area.
  19. To handle HR issues as appraisal / attendance / unauthorized leave / recruitment and exit movements of employees.
  20. To travel to each territory under ASO every quarter for enhancing business and helping/ guiding the BOs.
