Job Profile Responsibilities :

– Develop and execute a media relations strategy, which helps the client to meet it’s PR Objectives
– Analyse media coverage success and modify strategies based on results
– Provide information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
– Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
– Competition mapping
– Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
– Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
– Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
– Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
– Keeping a close track of the coverage. Clip-sheeting and dossier-making
Requirements :

– 1+ years proven working experience in public relations required
– Connected with national media
– Flair for designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
– Understand PR functions and responsibilities
– Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
– Excellent writing and editing skills. Able to write strong pitch notes and press releases,
– Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
– Event planning experience will be an added advantage

Eligibility Criterion :

Degree in Mass Communications, minimum one year experience in a PR firm
