MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the role will include
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Also command over written communication skills in English.
Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Seize opportunities to up-sell products when they arise
Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level
Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
Evaluate and handle customer feedback with urgency and escalate as per company processes
Work closely with accounting, verification and other administration teams
Handle and allocate inbound email requests from customers as per company processes
Negotiating, problem solving and dealing with complex enquiries
Working with technology across multiple platforms
Working in a fast paced environment where resilience and an ability to stay focused is a must
Admin duties to assist Marketing and HR
Ad hoc duties as required
Skills:
Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following:
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening and strong attention to details
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Excel and Word knowledge (intermediate to advanced would be an advantage)
