Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning, exceptional guest experience, and efficient team coordination while maintaining high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations ManagementOversee daily operations of the property, ensuring seamless functioning of all departmentsMaintain high standards of cleanliness, upkeep, and overall property presentationEnsure all cottages and common areas are guest-ready at all times
2. Guest Experience & HospitalityAct as the primary point of contact for guests during their stayHandle guest check-ins, check-outs, and special requestsEnsure a personalized and memorable guest experienceAddress and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
3. Team ManagementSupervise and manage the on-site team (chef, housekeeping, steward, etc.)Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure staff efficiencyConduct regular briefings and maintain team discipline and motivation
4. Coordination with StayVistaWork closely with the StayVista team for bookings, guest communication, and service standardsEnsure compliance with StayVista operational guidelines and SOPsShare regular updates and reports with stakeholders
5. Inventory & Vendor ManagementManage inventory for kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance suppliesCoordinate with vendors for timely procurement and servicesControl costs while maintaining quality standards
6. Maintenance & UpkeepEnsure timely maintenance and repairs of property infrastructureConduct regular inspections to identify issues proactivelyCoordinate with technicians/vendors for quick resolution
7. Reporting & AdministrationMaintain daily operational reports, guest feedback, and occupancy recordsHandle basic administrative tasks related to the propertyEnsure proper documentation and compliance with local regulations
Candidate Requirements
4 –7 years of experience in hotel, resort, or property managementStrong command of spoken and written EnglishPresentable, well-groomed, and professional demeanorExcellent interpersonal and guest-handling skillsProven ability to manage and lead a team effectivelyStrong problem-solving and multitasking abilitiesComfortable working in a remote/hill location
Preferred Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or HospitalityExperience working with luxury properties or boutique stays
