Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing
Source APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), excipients, herbal extracts, and cosmetic raw materials
Identify and develop reliable vendors (domestic & international)
Ensure materials meet GMP and quality standards2. Vendor Management
Evaluate and on board suppliers
Conduct vendor audits in coordination with QA
Maintain approved vendor list (AVL)3. Cost & Contract Management
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
Monitor market trends for cost optimization
Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality4. Inventory & Planning
Work with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels
Avoid stock-outs and overstocking
Implement ERP systems for tracking procurement cycles
