Job Description: ASP.NET (.NET) Developer with Frontend & API Integration Expertise
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled ASP.NET Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, and experience in building modern, responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications, integrating APIs, and working closely with frontend and backend systems to deliver end-to-end solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working across both frontend and backend layers within the Microsoft technology stack and has a solid understanding of web architecture and database design.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET (Web Forms / MVC / Core) and C#.
· Create and manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration between frontend, backend, and third-party services.
· Develop dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
· Work with SQL Server to design efficient database schemas, write stored procedures, and optimize performance.
· Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., ASP.NET Identity, OAuth, JWT).
· Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and security.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver user-centric features.
· Maintain and enhance existing codebases, ensuring clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and functionality issues across the stack.
· Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies, cloud integrations, and modern frontend frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in software development using ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core and C#.
· Strong understanding of OOP principles, MVC architecture, and entity frameworks (EF, Dapper, or LINQ).
· Experience in frontend technologies — HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
· Hands-on experience with SQL Server (database design, stored procedures, functions, triggers).
· Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
· Familiarity with IIS deployment, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Solid understanding of application security, authentication flows, and session management.
· Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment.
Good to Have (Optional)
· Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
· Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
· Knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
· Exposure to reporting tools (RDLC, SSRS, Crystal Reports).
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps workflows.
· Experience with payment gateways, APIs, or third-party integrations.
