Role Summary
We are looking for a senior businessdevelopmentleader to drive growth for our workplace interior projects. The role is responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, building strategic relationships, generating qualified leads, and converting them into profitable interior fit-out projects.
This position will own the entire businessdevelopmentlifecycle from lead generation to deal closure working closely with the design, estimation, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
- Identify and acquire new corporate and workplace interior projects
- Generate leads through brokers, consultants, developers, PMCs, corporates, and direct clients
- Pitch company capabilities, design solutions, and value propositions to decision-makers
- Lead negotiations, finalize commercials, and close deals
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Client & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, facility heads, real estate teams, and consultants
- Act as the primary point of contact during pre-sales and handover to execution teams
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
Market & Strategy
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming workplace projects
- Develop BD strategies for target sectors (IT, corporates, MNCs, startups, etc.)
- Identify partnerships with brokers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders
Internal Coordination
Work closely with:
- Design team for proposals and presentations
- Estimation team for BOQs and pricing
- Project team for smooth handover post-award
- Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company margins
Leadership & Reporting
- Build and manage a BD/sales pipeline
- Mentor junior BD or sales team members (if applicable)
- Prepare regular MIS reports on leads, conversions, revenue, and forecasts
- Report directly to senior management / founders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial / workplace interiors business development
- Strong network with corporates, brokers, PMCs, and consultants
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to understand drawings, BOQs, and project costing (high-level)
- Result-driven, self-motivated, and strategic thinker
- Comfortable with field work, client meetings, and networking events
Preferred Background
- Experience with office fit-outs, commercial interiors, turnkey projects
- Exposure to medium to large value projects
- Strong closing track record in B2B environments
