Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Customer Management
· Manage existing OEM and Tier-1 customer accounts and ensure continuous satisfaction.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the automotive clutch and brake segment, as well as other potential applications.
· Generate and follow up on RFQs (Request for Quotation) and prepare commercial quotations.
· Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms within management guidelines.
· Preparation of Documentation and submission in customer portals
2. Sales Planning & Forecasting
· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
· Track order status, delivery performance, and customer feedback.
· Work closely with production planning and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
· Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
· Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
4. Technical & Commercial Support
· Understand customer technical drawings, specifications, and spring performance requirements.
· Coordinate with production, and quality teams to offer feasible solutions.
· Attend customer visits, trade fairs, and technical discussions as required.
5. Reporting & Coordination
· Maintain customer interaction logs, order tracking, and CRM entries.
· Prepare periodic sales performance reports for management review.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (preferred).
· Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B industrial or automotive component sales, preferably in springs, precision parts, or metal components.
· Strong understanding of automotive Tier-1 supply chains and documentation (PPAP, APQP, etc.).
· Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems.
