Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth:
Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase the market share of the company’s product range within the assigned region or territory.
- Developing and reporting management in regards with the competitor’s landscape at the ground level
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail and wholesale customers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
- Market Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and explore untapped markets to drive growth.
- Product Knowledge & Promotion:
Provide detailed product information, demonstrate product benefits, and deliver engaging sales presentations to customers. Ensure that all product features and advantages are clearly communicated to target audiences.
- Sales Reporting & Analytics:
Regularly update sales reports, track progress against targets, and analyze sales trends. Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Merchandising & Shelf Management:
Ensure proper product placement and visibility in retail stores, supervise stock levels, and manage promotional materials to maximize product presence.
- Order Management:
Process and manage customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and efficient coordination with supply chain and logistics teams to meet customer needs.
- Market Intelligence:
Collect and analyze data on competitors, industry trends, and customer preferences. Provide actionable insights to help shape sales strategies.
- Promotions & Campaigns:
Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and other sales activities to drive product uptake and brand awareness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, in the FMCG industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Goal-oriented and able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and apply them to real-world situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Knowledge of the FMCG industry and its dynamics is highly desirable.
