Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to handle our WhatsApp marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing campaigns on WhatsApp to increase customer engagement, drive sales, and build lasting relationships with consumers. This role will require a blend of creative thinking, digital marketing skills, and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
WhatsApp Marketing Campaigns:
Design, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns through WhatsApp, including promotional messages, product updates, customer support, and more.
Segment and target customer lists based on behavior, demographics, and interests.
Create and maintain content for WhatsApp broadcasts, including text, images, videos, and links.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and ROI.
Customer Engagement:
Use WhatsApp as a tool for customer service and support, responding promptly to inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers by providing personalized communication, product recommendations, and promotions.
Foster customer loyalty and retention through effective communication and timely follow-ups.
Brand Awareness and Promotion:
Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content and visuals for WhatsApp marketing campaigns.
Promote new product launches, special offers, and seasonal campaigns via WhatsApp.
Increase brand visibility and consumer engagement through targeted and strategic WhatsApp marketing efforts.
Sales Support:
Work closely with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities through WhatsApp interactions.
Share product information, promotional codes, and exclusive offers with customers to drive sales.
Monitor sales data and feedback from WhatsApp campaigns and report findings to the management.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Track and report on key performance metrics for WhatsApp campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and consumer behavior.
Compliance & Brand Guidelines:
Ensure all marketing communications adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and brand guidelines.
Stay up to date with WhatsApp’s features, updates, and best practices for business communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in WhatsApp marketing preferably in the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of WhatsApp Business tools and features, such as WhatsApp Broadcasts, WhatsApp Business API, and other.
Proficient in content creation for WhatsApp, including writing copy and creating engaging visuals/videos.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage and influence customers effectively.
Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies for optimal performance.
Knowledge of FMCG industry trends and consumer behavior is a plus.
Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent brand voice across all messaging platforms.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools.
Familiarity with social media marketing and other digital marketing channels.
Knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
