Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Private Chef to cater to the culinary needs of our MD & residence. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of various cuisines, have a passion  for creating exquisite dishes, and be able to manage all aspects of meal planning, preparation, and presentation. This position requires a high level of creativity, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
1. Menu Planning:

 Collaborate with the MD and their family to create customized menus based on dietary preferences, allergies, and special requests.
 Ensure a variety of multicuisine options to cater to diverse tastes.

2. Grocery Shopping:
 Source and select high-quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and seasonality.
 Maintain inventory of pantry items and coordinate with suppliers.

3. Meal Preparation:
 Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in accordance with the established menus.
 Ensure that all meals are consistently well-prepared and presented.

4. Culinary Expertise:
 Exhibit proficiency in preparing a wide range of cuisines, including Indian Veg, Punjabi, Tandoori, Continental, Mexican, Thai and more.
 Keep up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to create innovative dishes.

5. Kitchen Management:
 Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
 Oversee kitchen staff, if applicable, and manage their schedules.

6. Special Events:
 Cater for special events, parties, and gatherings at the residence when required.
 Create special menus and accommodate guest requests.

7. Budget Management:
 Manage the food budget efficiently, making cost-effective choices without compromising quality.
 Keep detailed records of expenses.

8. Non-Alcoholic Beverage Knowledge:

 Select and pair beverages with meals.

9. Guest Relations:
 Interact professionally with family members and guests, providing a high level of service and hospitality.
 Adapt to guest preferences and dietary requirements.

10. Recipe Development:
 Develop and experiment with new recipes to add a personal touch to the dining experience.

Qualifications:

 Hotel Management Degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
 Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a similar role.
 Culinary degree or formal training is preferred.
 Proficiency in preparing a wide range of cuisines, especially Indian Veg, Punjabi,Tandoori, Continental, Mexican, Thai and more.
 Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
 Excellent time management and organizational skills.
 Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
