Responsibilities
 Produce and update cartographic products and navigational charts
 Create, integrate and maintain geospatial datasets and databases
 Develop scripting tools/use ModelBuilder for workflow efficiency
 FME of nautical data from ENC (Electronic Navigation Charts) cells and other sources
 Maintain the Maritime Chart Service component of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
 Manage IHO (International Hydrographic Organization) S-63 & S-57 ENC( Electronic
Navigation Charts) update schedules within the Maritime Chart Service
 Create Web Map Services for use in ArcGIS Desktop and Company’s ArcGIS Portal
 Create custom basemaps and symbology
 Follow and improve workflow processes and maintain project-related documentation
 Provide advice and support to other projects as required
 Procurement as required
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Familiarity with, or interest in, the following:
 Competent Esri ArcGIS Pro user
 Experience with scripting (Arcade/Python/VBScript), and process
automation–ModelBuilder
 Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS
 Use of Adobe Illustrator (Optional)
 A passion for anything maritime or nautical; navigational knowledge is desirable
 Interest in developing new products and improving existing products

Competence
 To have a degree in geographical information systems (GIS) or a degree in a related subject
such as geography, computer science or maritime
 To have strong attention to detail and possess analytical and problem-solving skills
 The ability to work effectively in a team but also to work unsupervised to deliver high quality
nautical publications
 To be able to communicate at all levels and in a knowledge‐led manner
 To be dynamic and energetic in your approach
 Be capable of working to tight deadlines and remaining flexible
 To be fully competent in Microsoft applications.
