We have a suitable opportunity in the Supply chain division for the position of Sr. Executive – Logistics &
Procurement. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible to Plan and manage Logistic Services of
the company. You should have 4-5 years of professional experience in the same domain. The location of the job
will be Gurgaon, Haryana.
Key Deliverables- Logistics:
Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal teams, suppliers, logistics
providers, transportation companies and coordinate with CHAs, forwarders, and customers in line
with the companies ’policies.
Managing the branch-wise distribution of all import shipments. Keeping a track of all kinds of
courier management
Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service
within budgetary requirements and ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy, Quality and
manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
Handling and coordinating with transporters for all kinds of dispatches and
ensure timely payment of all transportation bills after verifying.
Management of Company Vehicles and Renewing and updating agreements from transporter, couriers.
Coordination and Assistance with Front Desk Manager regarding all logistics related activities.
Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and
environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
Key Deliverables- Procurement:
Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies and work with suppliers, manufacturers
and internal departments.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Maintain a database of approved suppliers
Negotiate lower pricing Search and source potential suppliers and vendors Track, measure and
analyse company expenditures.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms and Partner with stakeholders to ensure
clear requirements documentation.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power Perform cost
and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Assess, manage and mitigate risks. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise
Key Competencies:
At least 4-5 years of proven working experience in Distribution/logistics/Warehousing.
Successful distribution and logistics management. Ability for vendor management.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations.
Good commercial and business understanding.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Key Relationships:
Internally – various functions like Supply & Distribution Planning team, Factory & Warehouse
Operation Team, Manufacturing, Sales, Accounts & Finance teams.
Externally –Transporters, Vendors, Courier Service Vendors, CHAs, etc.
