Designation:-Team Leader / Head of Department – Weddings

Salary:-Rs. 35- 40 K PM

Experience:-

We are looking for a confident, experienced and skilled individual with experience of 4-5+ years in the wedding

industry who can set up and manage a team for a wedding division from scratch. A Department head who is

confident of meeting business targets, executing successful events and build a successful brand in the wedding

and event industry

Location:- Mumbai

Job Description:-

Key Responsibilities:

·Conduct interviews, select the right candidates and set up a complete team for a raw weddings

division

·Manage the wedding division from A to Z being the single point of contact with the management

with regards to the company performance

·To work in co-ordination with the team to plan & create sales targets and budgets

·Generating leads & taking responsibility on closures of the same

·On the initial stages of getting the team ready, work on generation of business for the division

·Work on the existing leads by connecting with the potential clients and vendors to secure the

business

·To maintain ownership and strategic guidance of the Wedding and Social segment.

·Plan and execute budgets and plans for marketing activities, participations and promotions of the

brand

·Prepare reports for the brand and individual events and ensure that each event is successfully

executed

·To ensure the division meets the business targets each month

Skills & Qualifications:

·A degree in Marketing, Events Planning, Advertising, Hotel or Hospitality Management, or in other

related area

·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment

·Ability to communicate with all stakeholders in written and verbal forms

·Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team to produce desired result

·Strong working knowledge of the different Microsoft Office applications

·Strong time management skills to be able to schedule and successfully carry out activities within

allotted time efficiently

·Ability to listen to and understand exactly what clients require and expect for their wedding

·Strong ability to negotiate deals with vendors and other service providers to the wedding event and

secure cost saving deals for clients

·Strong ability to interact and get along with people from diverse background

·Updated knowledge of trends in the wedding industry.
