General Purpose<\/p>\n
To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.<\/p>\n
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To plan production schedule<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Determine and manage the human and material resources required<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Set product quality standards<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Monitor quality standards of products<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Determine and implement improvements to the production process<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Prepare and maintain production reports<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To set and manage production budgets<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including<\/p>\n
procurement, distribution, marketing and management<\/p>\n
