Systems Engineer Job Description<\/p>\n
A Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting equipment in a Microsoft Windows environment, <\/p>\n
from design through implementation and support. A System Engineer performs a wide variety <\/p>\n
of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and <\/p>\n
software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. A System Engineer provides <\/p>\n
investigation, diagnostic testing and repair\/resolution of system, hardware, software and <\/p>\n
infrastructure. <\/p>\n
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <\/p>\n
\u2022 Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Microsoft Windows <\/p>\n
environment to the specifications of client proposals <\/p>\n
\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve computer and telephony related issues when contacted by <\/p>\n
clients by providing both on-site and remote support <\/p>\n
\u2022 Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance <\/p>\n
with established objectives. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and <\/p>\n
outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support <\/p>\n
\u2022 Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure <\/p>\n
availability of services to authorized users. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Complete time logs in Tigerpaw within 48 hours of completing tasks to ensure accurate <\/p>\n
and timely time tracking, project management and billing of customers <\/p>\n
\u2022 Any other duties as assigned by management <\/p>\n

\u2022 Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications <\/p>\n
\u2022 Knowledge of Windows Servers, workstations, MS Exchange, VMware, Citrix, anti-virus <\/p>\n
and other various software applications <\/p>\n
