Location : West Bengal Siliguri

JOB DESCRIPTION
\u00b7 Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives and process change initiatives, to
enable Operations to attain our Business Plan
\u00b7 Manage a team of 10 to 20 with responsibility of a department, within a very fast-paced\/ time-
critical and demanding environment
\u00b7 Set\/clarify requirements and expectations for Operations Assistant Managers and Team Leaders
\u00b7 Measure performance through metrics, providing feedback, and holding front line associates
accountable for their performance and the performance of the task they are assigned to handle
\u00b7 As needed partner with Astt. Managers & TL\u2019s to establish corrective plans to insure that
department meets objectives
\u00b7 Leverage ideas of other Business Unit Managers and Team Leaders to source and nurture creative
improvement plans for Operations eco system
\u00b7 Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all work types and shifts
\u00b7 Be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department
\u00b7 Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Admin, HNIT and Automation Manager) to build and
secure support and resources for projects and initiatives
\u00b7 Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures
\u00b7 Manage and promote the maintenance of the working environment including driving health and
safety standards across your operational area
\u00b7 Maintains a complete management overview and thorough understanding of inventory in a multi-
product environment
\u00b7 Achieve damaged\/defective reimbursement targets
\u00b7 Implements change and\/or develops new processes as required to provide ability to better manage
the operational workflow
\u00b7 Continuously measure and evaluate the departmental goals and all work processes, available daily
labour and daily production goals
\u00b7 Manage and report metrics daily
\u00b7 Be responsible to answer all questions for his department and act as a master of his domain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BASIC CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Strong senior operations team leadership experience (manufacturing, production or distribution
environments), in a similar fast-paced environment
\u00b7 Goal driven, target orientated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture and long term vision
for the department.
\u00b7 Able to manage ambiguity with their sleeves rolled up, and possess a preparedness to get involved
if needed.
\u00b7 Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven
environment
\u00b7 Demonstrate a strong track record of problem solving and very strong analytical skill capability as
required, to look at and find solutions for a variety of operational challenges
\u00b7 Excellent judgments to ensure timely decisions are made on a regular basis. Demonstrated ability
to get things done and be resourceful.
\u00b7 Maintains effective pace and produces conclusive, measurable results within time commitments.
\u00b7 You are fluent in English. Verbally and written communication, including report writing skills.
\u00b7 High dependability \u2013 able to manage a business that can operate 24\/7 and commit the time
required to get the job done. Therefore you should be able and willing to work to flexible schedules\/
shifts and commit the time required to get the job done.
