Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Review and preflight customer-supplied artwork files for printing and die-cutting suitability (AI, PDF, EPS, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Prepare print-ready files using software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Esko ArtPro\/DeskPack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Apply necessary print specifications including bleed, trapping, color separations, and overprint settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Create impositions, step and repeat layouts, and prepare files for different press formats (offset, flexo, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Generate proofs for internal review and customer approval (digital and hard copy).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Operate computer-to-plate (CTP) equipment and RIP software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Collaborate with structural designers, press operators, and production planners to ensure correct file setup for printing, cutting, and finishing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Maintain prepress production logs, naming conventions, and file archiving procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Troubleshoot artwork or file issues and offer recommendations to improve print quality and production efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Stay up to date with technological advancements in prepress and packaging software\/hardware.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Minimum 2-5 years of prepress experience in the packaging or commercial printing industry, especially with folding cartons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Strong understanding of color theory, print processes (CMYK, PMS), and materials used in packaging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Acrobat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Experience with Esko software (e.g., ArtPro+, PackEdge) is highly desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Familiarity with die-line handling, barcodes, and printing standards (G7, ISO 12647).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Preferred Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Knowledge of structural packaging design (CAD software like ArtiosCAD)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Experience with automated workflows (e.g., Esko Automation Engine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Basic understanding of pressroom and post-press operations (coating, embossing, die cutting)
