We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a professional with up to 2 years of experience to contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from development to quality assurance and beyond. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical or Production Engineer with a strong understanding of design principles, quality control processes, and supply chain management. You will be involved in enhancing our existing product line, developing new products, ensuring quality standards are met, managing inventory, and providing product demonstrations to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation to final product realization.
* Utilize intermediate-level AutoCAD skills to create and modify product designs and drawings.
* Conduct thorough quality control checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Identify and source necessary spares and components to improve product functionality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize production flow and minimize waste.
* Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting features and benefits.
* Collaborate with production teams to implement design changes and resolve manufacturing issues.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of product documentation, including specifications and technical drawings.
* Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to hospital furniture design and manufacturing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
* 0-2 years of relevant experience in product development, quality control, or a related field.
* Mandatory: Intermediate-level proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D and potentially 3D design.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Fresher or experience in any production industry.
* Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Familiarity with inventory management software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
