Job Responsibilities:

\u2022 To provide customer service support to a fast paced Home delivery depot in arranging delivery dates for orders to be delivered to the end customer
To handle outbound and inbound
Live chats calls to meet and surpass customer service levels
\u2022 Responses to SMS and emails
Responsibilities
\u2022 Manage central email inboxes appropriately and action inbound emails
\u2022 To promptly answer incoming and make outgoing calls in an enthusiastic, courteous and efficient manner
\u2022 Adhering to internal and external policies\/procedures to ensure delivery process is executed smoothly
\u2022 Maintain system with current information to ensure orders are updated with all communications
\u2022 Ensure requests to supply information to internal and external contacts are completed within the required deadlines
\u2022 Liaise with relevant departments to ensure procedures are followed and goods are dispatched
\u2022 Manage own work schedule to ensure assigned duties\/tasks are completed with minimum supervision \u2022 Identify the customer’s requirements and respond to them
\u2022 Complete additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Person specification
Knowledge and Experience
\u2022 Customer service experience in a B2C or B2B environment
\u2022
A track record of working towards and achieving KPI’s
\u2022 Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls as part of a team
\u2022
Experience of inputting customer information into data systems
Understanding the requirement for confidentiality and maintenance of files in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements (s)
\u2022 Ideally experience of transport or logistics in a customer service environment would be an advantage
\u2022 Experience of making outbound and dealing with inbound calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills and abilities

<\/strong>\u2022 The post holder to be an efficient administrator with good communication, listening organisational and accuracy skills in a busy environment.
\u2022 The role requires high level of detail consciousness and someone who is keen to ensure all operational procedures are followed
Ability to work without direct supervision independently or as part of a team, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands in an organised and methodical manner (s)
\u2022 Demonstrate accurate numerical and analytical skills (s)
Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, databases and data input, internet\/email
Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educated to high level
<\/strong>
\u2022 Ability to communicate in English fluent (written and verbally)
\u2022 Proficient in the use of computers
Salary
<\/strong>\u2022 Negotiable dependent on experience and skill set
