Job Summary:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 We are seeking an accomplished Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Engineering Design, Manufacturing, and Product Development. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record of successfully managing projects, and supporting the production and manufacturing processes for the Power Transmission and Distribution sector. This role requires expertise in CAD design software, knowledge of best practices in Manufacturing and some prior experience in maintaining Mechanical Machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Experience:<\/strong> Ideal Candidate will have 3 to 5 years of similar experience is desired but fresher with 0-1 experience can also be considered<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Lead tactical mechanical design projects for EPC\u2019s, ensuring adherence to specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Design manufacturing models, engineering drawings and customer drawings for all products manufactured by the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Create and maintain General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) and Bill of Materials (BOM) tables while applying a strong understanding of GD&T principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, review material data, and complete BOMs for product components prior to production release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Utilize engineering software tools such as CAD to manage design documentation, Techdocs, and BOM creation for finalized orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Collaborate closely with Operations Supervisor, cross-functional teams, and Commercial Operations Director to design and manage day to day activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Collaborate with Operations supervisor in successfully conducting FAT and Factory inspection and answer any product query the inspectors may have<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Support manufacturing floor on day-to-day activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ability to travel 10% domestically to complete Type tests of products<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Other duties, as assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 3-5 years of direct work experience in a Mechanical Engineer\/Production Engineer capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering or Lean manufacturing environment is desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Manage and lead cross-functional teams (particularly technical staff)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 A Customer Obsession and Continuous Improvement Mindset is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Proficiency in CAD design software is a must<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Strong analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ability to foster cross-functional consensus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Comfortable with ambiguity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Ability to effectively communicate complex product and application information to groups.
