JOB DESCRIPTION: –<\/strong>
Coordina\u019fng project design assignments and design teams.
Define system requirements, instrumenta\u019fon, and control requirements (IPDS), and control logic; define system equipment and components required to meet those requirements.
Performing system hydraulic calcula\u019fons including pump selec\u019fon, sizing, and applica\u019fon.
Pipe and valve sizing including selec\u019fon of appropriate piping materials and valve types for applica\u019fons.
Selec\u019fon of valves including defini\u019fon of valves requirements and datasheets.
Selec\u019fon of Chemical Reactors, Vessels, Heat exchangers, Centrifuges etc. and
Func\u019fonal coordina\u019fon and reviews of detailed pipe rou\u019fng (by others) for conformance with system design requirements including pipe support selec\u019fon\/placement.
Developing equipment specifica\u019fons, technical bid evalua\u019fng, procuring, reviewing vendor drawings and factory acceptance tes\u019fng of mechanical equipment.
Administer equipment contracts (change evalua\u019fon, coordinate schedules, coordinate technical issues)
Preparing\/crea\u019fng deliverables like process flow diagram, P&ID, valve lists, line list, standard detail sheets for construc\u019fng\/installa\u019fon of new or modifica\u019fons of exis\u019fng power genera\u019fng facility mechanical systems.
Review calcula\u019fons, drawings and design documents produced by others for conformance with project requirements as well as Company and industry standards.
Providing leadership, guidance, instruc\u019fon, and mentorship to less experienced staff members;
Regularly mee\u019fng and corresponding with clients or outside personnel.
Suppor\u019fng development and improvements of department standard work procedures and workflows to support a successful work share approach amongst the various offices for all projects.
This posi\u019fon requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and prac\u019fces to broad areas of assignments. Must be capable of interpre\u019fng and developing solu\u019fons to complex problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifica\u019fons include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 5-6 years of related experience with exposure to piping design, pump selec\u019fon, rota\u019fng equipment, and process design.
So\u014cware experience u\u019flizing 2D\/3D, AUTOCAD, Revit, PDMS etc.
Proficient in the English language and must demonstrate excellent oral and wri\u01a9en communica\u019fon skills, as well as strong analy\u019fcal and problem-solving skills.
Previous consul\u019fng engineering experience preferred.
