Key Responsibilities:
Method Development and Validation:
\u2022 Develop and validate robust analytical methods for the identification,
quantification, and characterization of APIs, intermediates, and impurities.
\u2022 Optimize and troubleshoot existing analytical methods to improve accuracy,
precision, and robustness.
Instrumental Analysis:
\u2022 Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, FTIR,
UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, Moisture Analyzer, etc., and others as required.
\u2022 Ensure instruments are calibrated and functioning properly, and perform routine
maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Data Analysis and Documentation:
\u2022 Analyze experimental data and interpret results to draw accurate and meaningful
conclusions.
\u2022 Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments, methods, and results
in laboratory notebooks and data management systems.
\u2022 Prepare technical reports, method validation protocols, and standard operating
procedures (SOPs).
Collaboration and Communication:
\u2022 Work closely with R&D chemists to support process development and
optimization eYorts.
\u2022 Collaborate with quality control, regulatory aYairs, and other departments to
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
\u2022 Present findings and updates to project teams and management in a clear and
concise manner.
Compliance and Safety:
\u2022 Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment in the
laboratory.
\u2022 Stay current with industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and advancements in
analytical chemistry and instrumentation.
\u2022 Ensure all activities comply with Good Lab Practices (GLP) and other regulatory
standards.
Project Management:
\u2022 Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
\u2022 Plan and execute experimental work independently and as part of a team.
