Job Description:<\/strong>
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Private Chef to cater to the culinary needs of our MD
residence. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of various cuisines, have a passion
for creating exquisite dishes, and be able to manage all aspects of meal planning, preparation, and
presentation. This position requires a high level of creativity, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering
exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Menu Planning:
\uf0b7 Collaborate with the MD and their family to create customized menus based on dietary
preferences, allergies, and special requests.
\uf0b7 Ensure a variety of multicuisine options to cater to diverse tastes.
2. Grocery Shopping:
\uf0b7 Source and select high-quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and seasonality.
\uf0b7 Maintain inventory of pantry items and coordinate with suppliers.
3. Meal Preparation:
\uf0b7 Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in accordance with the established menus.
\uf0b7 Ensure that all meals are consistently well-prepared and presented.
4. Culinary Expertise:
\uf0b7 Exhibit proficiency in preparing a wide range of cuisines, including Indian Veg, Punjabi,
Tandoori, Continental, Mexican, Thai and more.
\uf0b7 Keep up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to create innovative dishes.
5. Kitchen Management:
\uf0b7 Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
\uf0b7 Oversee kitchen staff, if applicable, and manage their schedules.
6. Special Events:
\uf0b7 Cater for special events, parties, and gatherings at the residence when required.
\uf0b7 Create special menus and accommodate guest requests.
7. Budget Management:
\uf0b7 Manage the food budget efficiently, making cost-effective choices without
compromising quality.
\uf0b7 Keep detailed records of expenses.
8. Non-Alcoholic Beverage Knowledge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Select and pair beverages with meals.
9. Guest Relations:
\uf0b7 Interact professionally with family members and guests, providing a high level of service
and hospitality.
\uf0b7 Adapt to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
10. Recipe Development:
\uf0b7 Develop and experiment with new recipes to add a personal touch to the dining
experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Hotel Management Degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
\uf0b7 Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a similar role.
\uf0b7 Culinary degree or formal training is preferred.
\uf0b7 Proficiency in preparing a wide range of cuisines, especially Indian Veg, Punjabi,
Tandoori, Continental, Mexican, Thai and more.
\uf0b7 Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
\uf0b7 Excellent time management and organizational skills.
\uf0b7 Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
\uf0b7 Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
