Qualifications and Experience Levels:
\uf0b7 B Tech\/Diploma in Electrical engineering engineering.
\uf0b7 8-10 years\u2019 experience in design department having vast knowledge in designing
electrical products, experience of industries dealing in power sector\/Indian
railways preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design- Electrical Products
Key Responsibilities:
\uf0b7 Responsibility for the management of all Design activities including Request for
Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze \/ release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis
(DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design Verification\/Product
Validation (DV &amp; PV) testing and Computer-aided engineering (CAE)
\uf0b7 Liaise closely with all departments to fully understand design requirements
\uf0b7 Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from the Sales team
\uf0b7 Conceptualise new designs and design revisions
\uf0b7 Create detailed costed design blueprints
\uf0b7 Provide support to production to improve lead times
\uf0b7 Improve reliability performance to reduce or eliminate warrantable issues in the field
\uf0b7 2D auto cad and 3D CAD solid works to produce designs, drawings and models
\uf0b7 Create a range of 3D models for a number of proposal\/production and
development systems, products, and components using CAD\/ applicable software.
\uf0b7 Prototyping
\uf0b7 Identify and implement design improvements (functionality, cost, design for manufacture)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
